Ladies’ Fellowship

Meets every Thursday afternoon. They have a variety of speakers and activities with prayer and hymn singing. They also have fund raising  events for charities. They around a dozen ladies who attend regularly. Contact Pam Price 01244 341554

Luncheon Club

This is a membership club for the elderly and housebound people in the area, including Church members. It is held on Mondays when a delicious meal is served at a nominal cost. There are five teams of three ‘chefs’ and lifts can be arranged depending on the availability of our team of drivers – all from the church family.

Men’s Bowling

This group meets every Thursday morning. In winter they play indoor bowls and in summer meet at one of the local bowling greens. There are usually 7 or 8 men who play regularly but the group is open to all men in the area. Contact David Welsh 01244 349130

Mother & Baby/Toddler Group

This group meets every Tuesday Morning: 9.30am – 11.30am during school term time. Mums have the opportunity to meet other mums while their children play together, enjoying a variety of toys. Refreshments are available. Charge for the session is 50p. Contact Marie Delaney 01244 303232

Ramblers’ Group

Meets on the first Saturday of each month. During the year the group take part following a variety of walks in the Cheshire and North Wales area. There is also an annual trip further afield and recently the Lake District and North Yorkshire have been visited. Church members make up about half the group of up to 20 the rest coming from around the Hoole area. Contact Henry Parry 313811

Keep Fit

Meets every Monday evening when a number of ladies enjoy gentle exercise to music led by an Elder who is a fully trained Medau instructor. Again Church members make up about half the numbers the rest coming from around the area. Contact Chris. Browne – 01244 329988

Film Club

Meets the first Friday of every month. Open to all. Film starts 2.00pm – doors open 1.40pm. Enjoy a film and an interval of tea and cakes. A great social occasion. Quarterly Family Film meets Saturday afternoon. Contact Sophia & Chris Spink – 01244  336559

Community Chat and Coffee MorningThird Thursday of the month

Third Thursday of the month – This is chance to meet friends, make friends and enjoy some social time together. Drop in for tea or coffee, a chat and toasted teacakes!
