Diary and Latest News

Do you know what goes on in our church building during the week? Could you answer any questions which people may ask you about the church? Are you really interested?

For many years this building has been the base for activities serving both young and not-so-young, and we have hosted many charity events. This Open Day is an opportunity to come along and have a look at what activities do take place, both church-based and through renting, to outside organisations, who will be show-casing what they do. We have nearly 200 youngsters in the uniformed organisations alone, and organisations who hire the halls also involve children’s activities. There are also groups, including our Luncheon Club, who serve the needs of the older generation. The more ‘active’ groups – Walking Group, Medau, and Men’s Bowling Group will also be represented.

We will be open from 10.00a.m. until 3.00p.m. during which light refreshments will be available. This is part of our 60th Anniversary celebrations and a chance to show you and the wider community that we are open ‘seven days a week – not one in seven’!
